Felt a bit of environmental guilt that the water that I gratefully took from the water station was in plastic bottles...not sure if there could possibly be cardboard/carton alternative. Would also have been good to see a couple of distance flags to let us know how far we had gone!

For people wanting to attend the event, it’s a great first one! However, I would suggest a different route if possible, the 3rd & 4th miles were tough going with the hills, if they can be removed for a flatter route, I feel that would be more welcoming! Well done on a cracking first event!

Markers at each km would be helpful, particularly for anyone running without a watch or who may have faced tech issues.
I only realised later that I didn't receive the buff that was included in the entry fee. I wasn't directed to where to get it when I finished, just given my medal and bottle of water. Maybe there was a goody bag or something that I should've picked up.

Loved every minute of the Cirencester 10K. Parking was simple and easy, with just a short walk to the start/finish area. The course offered stunning views of Cirencester and the surrounding countryside, and the atmosphere was amazing throughout. Great facilities and a good medal to top it all off — a brilliant local race.

I enjoyed this race, and Cirencester is a great location.
My only criticism is that a lot of slower runners lined up near the start line along with the fastest people, then got in the way of the faster midpack runners.

Some pace / finish time ordered start pens, or Pacers would probably have solved this.

My only point would be to have mile/km markers on the route.
